The biggest difference between quartz polishing plate and quartz raw material plate is in processing way. Quartz raw material plate is produced directly by continuous melting method. Quartz polishing plate comes from deep processing of raw material plate (raw material selection – cutting – rough grinding – fine grinding – other processing). During use, if the optical requirements are not particularly high, we can choose to use quartz raw material plate. This can not only reduce the cost, but also achieve the desired effect.
How to distinguish which is the polishing plate or the raw material plate?
The most direct way is through looking at the surface. In the case of reflecting light, you can see the slight ripple on the surface of the raw material plate. The opposite is true for polished plates. Look at the picture below.
